Before we can really discuss the generation and management of leads, we should really define what a lead is. A “lead” in Dubsado is anyone who has shown interest in wanting to learn more about the services you offer so they can buy from you. As your business starts to grow, you will begin attracting (or “generating”) more and more leads and you will need to have a way to manage them so you can keep track of who’s who and what needs to happen for each of them.
How do you know when someone is interested in your services? Mostly, they will complete what’s called a “Lead Capture” form—they’ll answer a few questions and give you at least their name and email address for you to follow up with them, either manually or through automated responses. Dubsado makes it very easy to manage these leads in one platform, which we will dig deeper into in future posts.
