When Dubsado first launched Public Proposals, they were a game-changer! In the past, proposals were unique to each client, meaning you had to create a new one for each client. There was not an option to share one proposal with multiple different clients. There also wasn’t any kind of “Buy Now” option for businesses that offer that kind of product or service.
But now with Public Proposals, both of these options are possible!
In order to make your proposal public, go to the Form Settings icon on the left (it looks like a gear). Then scroll down to the “Public proposal options” section. Change the toggle to “Yes” so Dubsado will create a new project once the proposal is completed. Next, decide if you want a workflow to trigger. You can also redirect the proposal to a specific URL once submitted. Set the Project Status for the new project that will be created. Finally, give the project a title.
There are a couple of other important things to note in order to make your proposal shareable:
Once you’ve adjusted the proposal settings and added the required fields, save the proposal. Click the “Sharing” icon on the left to view your sharing options. Use the embed code if you want to embed the Public Proposal directly on your website. Use the direct link if you want to hyperlink the Public Proposal on a button, in an email, or on social media.
