Public Proposals in Dubsado

When Dubsado launched Public Proposals, they were a game-changing new feature! In the past, proposals were unique to each client and there was no way to share the same proposal with multiple people. There also wasn’t any kind of “Buy Now” option for businesses who offer that kind of product or service.

But with Public Proposals, both of these options are possible!

In order to make your proposal public, go to the Settings tab in the proposal setup and scroll all the way down to the bottom. Click “Public” under the Privacy Settings and then choose “Yes” to create a new project when the proposal is completed. From there you can decide if you want to trigger any workflows, what status you want the project to be created under, and what you want the Project Title to be when it’s created.

One other important thing to note as well in order to make your proposal shareable is that your proposal MUST include the First Name, Last Name, and Email Address fields and they must all be required and mapped to the corresponding fields in Dubsado.

Once you’ve adjusted the proposal settings and added the required fields, save the proposal and then the “Share” button should become available for you to grab a direct link or an embedded iframe code!
